The Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) proudly congratulates Maliyah’s Kitchen, which today achieved the rights to use the GNBS Approved Made in Guyana Standards Mark for its Sal Sev, Tasty Mithai and Milk Fudge.
In a brief handing over ceremony held at the GNBS’s head office, the Made in Guyana Certificate was handed over by GNBS Head (Ag) of Certification Services, Keon Rankin to Proprietress of Maliyah’s Kitchen, Alyssa Singh in the presence of the Manager, Mark Singh, among others.
The Made in Guyana Standards Mark is a registered mark that aims to recognize locally manufactured products on the local and international markets and is a signature of quality for authentic Guyanese Products.

About Maliyah's Kitchen
At MaliyahsKitchen, we are passionate about creating delicious and authentic food products that bring people together. We specialize in traditional sweets and baked goods, using time-honored recipes and the freshest ingredients to create flavors that are true to their origin.
Our story began during the COVID 19 pandemic, The business unofficially began with me exploring my passion in the kitchen as a means to perfect my culinary skills. I began to share samples with my close friends and family who would always encourage me to get involved in making my products famous. They began sharing my goodies with other close friends and soon after, I’ve started to cater for those friends
and I’ve started making a few items by pre-order only about twice weekly.]. From the very beginning, our goal has been to share our love of authentic Indian sweets with the world. We believe that food is a powerful way to connect with others and celebrate our shared experiences.
